Summer Internships with RILA

RILA has summer internship opportunities for high school and/or college students interested in learning more about the asylum process. 

Time Period of Internship:  Summer 2020 (Specific dates TBD); 10-15 hours/week  

Position Summary: RILA's internship will provide the intern with a comprehensive overview of the asylum-seeking process, conditions in the home countries of RILA clients, and the opportunity to use this information for social media advocacy. The aim of this role is to combine the interests of the intern with the needs of RILA, and will be a substantive and immersive experience.

Experience required: Preference for students who are are detail-oriented, responsible and motivated; Experience in Central America not required, but a plus! 

Skills required: Research and Writing, Problem-Solving, Social Media, Communication, Spanish fluency (preferred, but not required)
