Equipping Leaders

RILA recently launched the Client Advisory Board! We invited current and former RILA clients to join this effort, and our eight-member Board will meet quarterly throughout the year.  We have already held two meetings and are looking forward to our next gathering!

The purpose of the Board is to equip and train members as well as provide space for connection and relationship-building. We believe RILA clients hold many strengths, and they know firsthand what it's like to be a new immigrant in this country. They are resilient, compassionate and highly capable. And they know best how to care for our most vulnerable immigrant neighbors.

The hope is that Board members will leverage their expertise to identify new ways to care for our RILA family, especially those who are new to the United States. We are excited to see how this exceptional group of leaders refines RILA's work. We believe we can work together, alongside RILA clients, to see our community truly supported and transformed.
